Introducing the MLB Community FamJam

The MLB Community FamJam gives Candy MLB collectors a chance to volunteer to become Community Ambassadors, allowing them to host their own FamJam, challenge, or virtual event.

Introducing the MLB Community FamJam

Since the inception of Candy Digital in 2021, our community of collectors has been the heart and soul of everything we do.

This community has been remarkable, from providing honest and real-time feedback to developing original content to creating friendships formed through the shared passion of collecting their favorite MLB teams and players.

That is to say, when it comes to spreading the word about Candy Digital's efforts to elevate fandom, baseball fans do it better than anyone else; and we genuinely appreciate that.

That’s why, in 2024, we are committed to emphasizing this type of community engagement.

We’re starting by giving our MLB collectors a chance to volunteer to become Community Ambassadors, allowing them to host their own FamJam, challenge, or virtual event.

Now, we know you’re probably eager for more information. Don’t worry—we've got you covered!

Getting Involved

Interested in being a Community Ambassador? Here’s how it works:

  • Fill out the Candy Community Ambassador form to let us know you’re interested in hosting a Community-led event.
  • Candy will review applications.*
  • The collectors will work with Candy to bring their event(s) to life!
  • Candy will support the event by spreading the word, providing rewards for challenges, and reimbursement for in-person events.

By volunteering to host an event or challenge, collectors can receive special perks such as a unique Discord role, baseball tickets, and referral credits for new collector onboarding resulting from their events.

*In addition to the timing and location of the event, Candy will select hosts based on professionalism, character quality, safety, and integrity. Not all applicants are guaranteed to become Community Ambassadors. Community Ambassadors are encouraged to express themselves freely, whether it's sharing positive or negative feedback publicly. However, we expect ambassadors to maintain a level of professionalism and act in accordance with our Terms of Use. Feedback should always be respectful and constructive, and personal attacks should be avoided on Candy's employees. Candy assumes no liability for any loss, damage, or injury arising from a Community-led event.

So there you have it!

We’re stoked to get this program off the ground and look forward to collaborating closer with our passionate collectors throughout this regular season and beyond.
