Jackie Robinson Day is April 15th and celebrated across Major League Baseball. All 30 teams have jersey number 42 retired to honor Jackie and his mark on history and the sport. He was the first player to break the color barrier in baseball when he stepped on the field as a Brooklyn Dodger on April 15th, 1947. This year is the 75th anniversary of that momentous event.

The Jackie Robinson Day Collection was brought to life to continue representing baseball’s historical greats like we did in the Lou Gehrig collection. In 2021, we released the Lou Gehrig Collection that featured his “Luckiest Man Speech” and his bust. All proceeds from the auction and collection sales went to the ALS foundation in honor of Lou Gehrig. Similarly in 2022, the Jackie Robinson collection will feature three different tiers of products and all proceeds net of third party fees will be donated to the Jackie Robinson Foundation.
