We are thrilled to announce the successful completion of the DC NFT Marketplace's migration to the Candy Digital platform. This significant transition marked the merging of two pioneering entities in the digital collectibles space, setting new benchmarks in fan engagement and experiences. Here's a look at what this migration entailed and how it impacted our community.

What Does This Mean For You?

As part of the migration process, we took several carefully planned steps to ensure a seamless transition for our users:

  • Transfer of NFTs, Funds, and Data: All of your funds and data from the DC NFT Marketplace were securely transferred to Candy.com. All NFTs held on your DC NFT account were also restored to your Candy.com account. You can read more about this process here.
  • Accounts Merged: Users with accounts on both platforms received instructions based on their email setups. Those with different emails for each account were asked to unify them, while accounts with the same email were automatically merged.

Important Changes and Processes

The migration involved several critical changes and steps for users to take:

  • Password Reset: After the migration was completed, users received an email to reset their passwords on Candy.com. If you did not receive your password reset notification, please reach out to help@candy.com for assistance. 
  • Relisting: Now that the migration is complete, you will need to relist your active listings from the DC NFT Marketplace to Candy.com.
  • New Rarity & Fee Structure: The "Common" rarity for DC NFTs are now known as "Core." Additionally, a standardized 5% buying and selling fee will be implemented on secondary marketplace purchases, in addition to the credit card processing fee. Learn more here.
  • Withdrawals: Any pending withdrawals you had on the DC NFT Marketplace were canceled and have been credited to your Candy.com account. You now have the flexibility to use your credit balance or initiate a new withdrawal request via USDC or ACH (for US bank accounts).

Supported Countries and Limitations

The merger also led to changes in supported countries. We have updated our list of fully supported countries. See the list of fully supported countries here. Please note that if your country was previously supported by the DC NFT Marketplace and is no longer fully supported by Candy Digital, your account will have some limitations. Learn more here.
