It’s official: the highly popular Hall of Fame ICONs are BACK, and we’re here to provide you with the ins and outs of Candy’s first baseball drop of the calendar year. For starters, what’s better than adding some GOATs to your digital collection? If you ask us, there isn’t much!

Now, let’s get to the good stuff.

The upcoming 2024 Hall of Fame ICONs drop pays homage to 40 of the greatest ballplayers to set foot on a baseball diamond and ushers them into the world of digital collecting.

We’re talking sleekly-designed ICONs of two-time Cy Young Bob Gibson, the “Crime Dog” Fred McGriff, legendary backstop Iván “Pudge” Rodríguez, and the always beloved Kirby Puckett.

It’s like having Cooperstown at your fingertips!

Drop Details

The 2024 Hall of Fame ICONs will be available starting Tuesday, February 13 at 1 pm ET.

  • Where: Candy.com/mlb
  • Transaction/Account Limits: 5 packs per transaction, no account limit
  • There will be no early access for this drop
  • The secondary marketplace for 2024 Hall of Fame ICON packs will be closed for one week (opening February 20 at 1 pm ET) or until packs sell out. Unwrapped 2024 Hall of Fame ICONs may be re-sold immediately,

The 2024 Hall of Fame ICONs drop is structured around two tiers of pack offerings: Standard and Premium:

Standard Packs:

  • $20 pack with four (4) ICONs
  • Four (4) ICON rarities (Core through Epic)
  • 2,345 total packs
  • Pack Odds (Core: 2.473, Uncommon: 1.13, Rare: 0.339, Epic: 0.057)
  • One (1) minute cooldown between purchases

Premium Packs:

  • $125 pack with 10 ICONs
  • 5 ICON rarities (Core through Legendary)
  • 1,466 total packs
  • Pack Odds (Core: 4.775, Uncommon: 2.558, Rare: 1.640, Epic: 1.00, Legendary: 0.027)
  • Three (3) minute cooldown between purchases

New Year, New Design

In this second rendition of the Hall of Fame ICONs, collectors will notice a few tweaks to the design because why not try something fresh?! Here’s the rundown:

2024 Hall of Fame ICONs take last year’s design while adding some of its own flare. 

  • Each ICON features a Highlight totaling three (3) moments from each Hall of Famer’s career
    • Cores feature a unique Highlight;
    • Uncommons and Rares share a Highlight;
    • Epics and Legendaries share a Highlight
  • Each ICON spotlights four (4) of the most impressive statistics from each Hall of Famer’s career
  • Each ICON will now be viewable on mobile devices after removing the 3D fly-through effect; there will also be no voiceovers

A Pair of Hall of Fame Worthy Challenges

Since this drop is centered on baseball greatness, it’s only right we create a Hall of Fame for collecting greatness, eh?

That’s why we’re spinning up two (2) 2024 Hall of Fame ICON collection challenges.

Chipper Jones Reward Challenge

Collectors that hold ALL players from the drop in ANY rarity (Core through Legendary) will earn a special reward featuring 8x All-Star, 1999 National League MVP, and Atlanta Braves legend Chipper Jones.

Kirby Puckett Reward Challenge

For those looking to cement themselves in the upper echelon of collecting greatness, collectors that hold ALL players from the drop in the Rare, Epic, or Legendary rarity will earn a special reward featuring 10x All-Star, 2x World Series Champion, and beloved Minnesota Twins legend Kirby Puckett.

Both challenges will end on March 21 at 5pm ET.
