Our MLB marketplace is buzzing for a new season and it’s a moonshot. Candy’s 2022 MLB ICON Leadoff packs are a four-part series layered with releases that will keep your collection as dynamic as the sport. With over 480,000 packs across eight drops, you’ll have countless opportunities to pick up your favorite players, diversify your collection and even win a Legendary one of one.

Our Leadoff ICON packs give you a chance to collect your favorite player from the MVP to middle relievers with ICONS from every team, every lineup and every position. Packs will be available for $50.00 and include five unique ICONS with varying levels of rarity.

Rarity structure:

Our MLB Leadoff ICON packs have five levels of rarity. Each rarity is highlighted by key design and visual effects differences as well as varying levels of scarcity:

• Core (Player ICON)
• Uncommon (Player ICON + Highlight),
• Rare (Player ICON + Highlight/ VFX on Highlight),
• Epic (Player ICON + Highlight + Animation/VFX on Highlight + Player Signature)
• Legendary ( Player ICON + Highlight + Animation/VFX on Highlight + Player Signature + 1-of-1)

• Drop 1:  April 12
• Drop 2: April 19th
• Lineup 2
• Drop 3: May 3rd
• Drop 4: May 10th
• Lineup 3
• Drop 5: May 24th
• Drop 6: May 31st
• Lineup 4
• Drop 7: June 14th
• Drop 8: June 21st

Early Access Details:

The below groups will have early access across all 4 Lineups (i.e., all 8 drops):

• All-Star Full Set Holders (One-time snapshot to be taken March 31, 2022 11:59 PM ET)
• Uncut Diamonds Full Set Holders (One-time snapshot to be taken March 31, 2022 11:59 PM ET)
• MLB Stadium Series Chaser Completionists (Original List of Stadium Chaser recipients)
• Candy Suite Members
• Candy Discord “Day Ones” (those who have the role on Discord)

A snapshot will be taken prior to each Lineup to determine eligibility for early access. Snapshots will be taken on April 11th, May 2nd, May 23, June 13 @ 8:59:59 AM ET. Holders at the time of each snapshot will be eligible for the Lineup immediately following the snapshot:

• Candy Sweet Futures Basketball Chaser Holders
• Legendary 2021 MLB ICONS Holders

In addition to the above groups, there will be groups that are granted early access specifically for one Lineup. The following groups will have early access to Lineup #1 (i.e., the first two drops):

• Own 10+ POTDs (Snapshot to be taken April 11, 2022 8:59:59 AM ET)
• Atlanta Braves World Series Gold Trophy (Snapshot to be taken April 11, 2022 8:59:59 AM ET)
• Users who signed up for Candy emails by July 8th, 2021

We will announce additional groups for the other Lineups closer to the beginning of each Lineup.

Note that early access groups do not “stack”. There will be one early access window for each Lineup as specified above. Also note this is how early access is being conducted for these particular drops. It does not mean this is always how early access will be conducted for all future drops.
