Candy.com Candy Buffet Contest Fourth July 4

In the spirit of Independence Day, we decided to give you a little patriotic inspiration to go along with the contest. Needless to say, to put this together we looked at a lot of red, white, and blue sweets!   As a whole, we decided to stick with items that hold up well in the heat, and we also found ourselves gravitating to fruit and berry flavored items that are sweet and refreshing at the same time. Take a look!

Lets start with the centerpiece. We wanted a real eye catcher, so we picked  these blue and white Twister Pops. At one foot long, these lollipops can’t help but attract attention.  To present them, we found a great oblong metal bucket (meant for utensils) from HomeGoods, and filled its sections with Styrofoam. We planted the sticks in it, and they stood right up.  You can’t see, but we then covered the styrofoam with white sixlets to give it a cleaner look.

We filled the front of the bucket with Watermelon Cube Pops. These tasty  pops are a pretty juicy visual compared to a standard small round pop.

Next we put a perennial favorite, rock candy sticks (Strawberry, White Sugar, and Raspberry), in a bed of white sixlets.  In hot weather, if a candy item has a stick option; go with it.  Sticky fingers do not a happy quest make.

For single color candies, we wanted three simple candy staples that would present simple, large blocks of color. The red is the gummy, a delicious red raspberry gummy from Albanese…

Lastly, these blueberry jelly jeans from Jelly Belly are about as blue as you can get and burst with flavor.

For one last element, we found this great three piece tower at HomeGoods (FYI you can find all the glass containers we use there!) We did a combo of blue raspberry pufflettes at the top and bottom and filled the middle with more red gummies.

For styling, we wanted to keep it traditional with a slight vintage American feel.  We labeled the candy containers with simple blue and red hangtags on twine.   We used the same tags for the signs, and added a band with red and white striped craft paper.

Friends and family can take some candy home in red paper bags, and we put these and the candy scoop in small metal buckets decorated with the same striped craft paper and blue stars.

For the streamers, we cut simple triangles using the the same red and white striped paper and blue paper that we used for the buckets, but we also cut white stars to add to the blue. We hung it on the same twine as the hangtags, and called it a styling day!

Radpack Gumballs

OK, get ready for five completely radical gumballs in one pack: Flaming Hot, Foaming, Colorful, Extremely Cool, and Super Sour.

Each of the five flavors in SweetWorks’ new Radpack Bubble Gumballs mix is over-the-top, and that’s an understatement.

Meet Ball of Fire, a gumball that gives habañero a run for its money; Mouth Mess, which oozes color and will instantly turn your tongue into a Picasso; Super Sour, a gumball guaranteed to make you wince (and possibly cry); Extreme Cool with ridiculously icy mint flavor; and Foaming Flavor, which should be avoided at all costs when wearing white.

If that doesn’t pique your interest, these extreme gumballs are also gluten-free, kosher-certified … and perfect for ambushing unsuspecting friends who are fully expecting a classic, cherry-flavored gumball. So evil.

We double-dog dare you to try a Radpack and give it a review at Candy.com. C’mon … do it!

Benefits of Bulk Candy

Bulk CandyWhile Candy.com believes that candy is a necessity, we understand that for some it’s more of an indulgent treat.

For both personal enjoyment and retail scenarios alike, bulk candy is a great way to get sweet offerings at a price that’s easy on the wallet. More than simply bins, bags and barrels of unwrapped pieces, modern bulk candy simply gives buyers an option to procure their favorite brands and flavors in larger quantities and lower per-piece cost. Even popular names are available in bulk candy through our online candy store, ensuring that even the pickiest candy lovers can get exactly what they crave.

Bulk Candy for Stores

When enticing customers with candy, many of the common obstacles to making a sale come in the form of quantity. For reasons that range for diet-busting amounts of calories to packages that simply contain more than is desired, many potentially profitable items remain on the shelves when there’s interest present. Stocking candy in bulk enables buyers to select exactly the amount they want or need, frees up valuable shelf and counter “real estate” and offers you a better profit margin with bulk pricing. In fact, drawn in by the experience of selecting their own bulk product or mix, those formerly reluctant customers may just end up buying more!

Bulk Candy for Homes and Offices??

The candy jar has long been a symbol of welcome, and there’s never been a better time to fill it with delicious treats. Candy in bulk is an economical choice when it comes to stocking your candy jar, bowl or other container of delights; Candy.com offers everything from lollipops to hard candies in amounts that satisfy any sweet tooth. Stop wasting money paying store prices for small bags of marked-up treats – you’ll find much larger quantities at much lower prices in our bulk candy store, and we’ll ship your order right to your front door!

If you’ve been craving a pound of lollipops or 5 pounds of luscious gumdrops, you’ve come to the right place to buy candy online. Get the sweetest deals at Candy.com and enjoy bulk candy bliss.
